Omari Turner Jr. also known as the founder of “Omari’s Own” has a love for being a business owner since the age of 9.  When he was in San Diego, California he wanted to start a lemonade stand.  His Cocoa (God-Mother) made him a promise that when he came back for the summer he would have his stand.  Well due to some personal issues she had to move back to Richmond, Virginia and he was not able to start his stand. 

 

During the pandemic he took his idea for his lemonade stand to Vernetta (owner of NV Styles & Cuts).  After his first sale the demand grew.  He has grown his business from four drinks to seven drinks and four treats.  His profits and donations are being saved for his college education. 

 

Omari’s Own has also partnered with Wi Not Me, Inc for their Annual Back to School Event.  He has also provided drinks for birthday parties and other events.  He plans to expand his business to one day have a juice truck.
